Sony A9 Calibration issue

Hello!

I have an issue where the files from an A9 when in Calibration version 5, are very underexposed. Using local adjustment tools also causes artifacts. Change to version 4 and all issues resolve.

The problem is that as soon as any adjustments are then made the image reverts to version 5.

Surely there is a fix for this?!?!?!

Lightroom 11.01

Calibration is a tool at the bottom of the develop console. Version 5 is the latest version.

This doesn't happen with all images and I can't figure out what triggers it. I don't have DRO enabled in camera, shoot only RAW.

Show us an example of a photo where it doesn't seem to work well and has artifacts. Include the screen capture in your reply by using the "Insert Photos" icon. Do not attach files.

You really need to apply said edits, save out as a DNG (so all the edits, your profile etc are baked into the DNG) and upload using something like Dropbox. We need to examine all this remotely.

I have to assume (and hate to do so) you mean Process Version 5.

This sounds similar to what a fewer others have reported. Check out the screen recording in this post:

and read through the rest of the posts in that thread.  How are your symptoms similar and how are they different?
