When is a fix coming for the Sony RX100 M6 so I can edit the raw files in LR?
Historically, most new Sony cameras (69%) get supported by LR in the release following the cameras' announcements, and the rest get supported in the next release after that. But the RX100 VI was announced June 5, just two weeks before LR 7.4 was released, and Adobe probably didn't even have its hands on the camera yet. So almost certainly LR 7.5 will support the camera. Adobe releases new versions of LR every 8 weeks on average, so we might see LR 7.5 mid-August. See here for details: Re: Timing of Lightroom releases
It's August 8th Adobe. When can we expect it?
As stated: "Adobe releases new versions of LR every 8 weeks on average, so we might see LR 7.5 mid-August."
Thanks John for your answer.
I'm using Lr 6.14. Is this update also available for Lr 6.14 ?
No. Lightroom 6 .14 will receive no additional updates. However, there will be a DNG converter that you can use to create DNG files that you can import into Lightroom 6 .14. But will be your only option if you stay with Lightroom 6 .14. It will be released at the same time the Lightroom and Camera Raw updates are released. Your DNG files will have to be created independently from Lightroom and then imported.
So Adobe will launch also a new dng converter ? because the current DNG Converter doesn't work, too.
Usually, at the same time the update is released for LR, for ACR (PS) as well as a new version of the DNG convertor.
It's now mid-August...
Do you have a temporary solution? using Photos maybe?!!!
