Spinning Cloud sync - 1 image left and won't sync

Explorer ,
Dec 05, 2025 Dec 05, 2025

I recently set up my Lightroom Classic catalog to sync to Lightroom and monbile apps. I followed the steps to make a "From Lightroom" Collection and synched everything except for one file. Attached is a screenshot of what I'm seeing. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hey @BRET34957036n2cw

Here to help you get back on track. If you go to https://adobe.ly/3KLfCI7 do you see any sync errors under All Photos? If so, click on that folder. You should be able to see the images that is stuck.

Hi @BRET34957036n2cw,

Thanks for the update. A few things you can try that often help when sync gets stuck like this:

• Make sure you’re on the latest Lightroom Classic version (15.1) and test again after updating.

• Sign out of Lightroom Classic (Help > Sign Out), restart the app, then sign back in and allow sync to resume.

• Go to Preferences > Lightroom Sync, then hold Alt to reveal Rebuild Sync Data, and try that option.

• Check the Deleted album on Lightroom Web and in the app, then permanently delete anything there and let sync run again.

Please let us know what you observe after taking these steps so we can explore the next options.

Best,

Anshul Saini

Hi @Anshul_Saini

I've tried all the above but still have those 24 images syncing. Thanks!

Hi @BRET34957036n2cw

Thanks for trying all the steps mentioned above and for the update. Since the sync is still stuck, the next step would be to collect a diagnostic report so we can better understand what’s happening behind the scenes. How to generate the diagnostic log bundle:

  1. Open Lightroom Classic
  2. Go to Preferences > General
  3. Hold the Alt/Option key
  4. Click Generate Diagnostic Report.
  5. Once the report is generated, please share it with us so we can review the sync details.

Additionally, after taking a full backup of your catalog and Preferences folders, I recommend manually resetting Lightroom Classic preferences. After resetting, relaunch Lightroom Classic and allow sync to run again.

Let us know your observations after these steps, and we’ll take it from there.

Regards,

Srishti

Hi @BRET34957036n2cw, thanks for sharing those details!
One thing you can try is opening Lightroom desktop (not Lightroom Classic) and filtering your photos by sync status. Lightroom will show any images that are still trying to sync.
Select all the images that appear as syncing and then do one of these:
• Delete the selected images and re-import them into Lightroom
• Or apply a flag or star rating to the selected images
Give that a try and let us know how it goes, we’re here to help!

Hi, @Aleke

I tried that just now but when filtering for Syncing there are no images to show. Did you find anything from the diag files I sent? Thanks!
