Subject Masking Issues

I have been having issues with my subject masking lately.  It will not detect the outline of the person or any of the individual features; such as the hair, eyes, etc.  When a subject is selected, it only shows a box around where the person is in the photo...not the person itself.  I have an older version of Lightroom Classic on my laptop & have not had the issue with the older version; leading me to assume it is a bug with the newest update.

Most problems with AI masking are caused by older, buggy graphics drivers. Try updating your graphics driver by going directly to the manufacturer's web site:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html#solution-4

If that doesn't help, please copy/paste here the entire contents of the LR menu command Help > System Info -- that will let us see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running.

I have been enjoying the new selection mask function for some time. I love it. But today it’s not working. When adding a Sky mask, it says no sky detected. When selecting the background mask, it selects the whole picture. When selecting people to mask, it creates a rectangle around the person. What’s going on? I am not aware if I did anything that could inadvertently affect the mask function.

Demo: when select people, it ends up with a rectangle.

When I click on person 1 in mask it just puts a rectangle around subject. If I click select subject it just masks weird areas. Won't pick up skies in any photos. But it works on Lightroom mobile. What's going on?
