Suspicious email really from Adobe?

I received the enclosed email. It's a screenshot, so safe. It says it's from an M N Suhas, but the embedded email is from  mutmurdu@adobe.com.

I've used PS and LRC since Ver. 1 and never received anything like this.  I did report a crash on a new computer, which was a hardware issue and I resolved it.

so I wonder if this has a virus embedded in the zip file.

A view of the email headers (all of the normally hidden server-to-server info) might be helpful.

The email is almost certainly from Adobe Lightroom Classic QE team member 'Suhas Muthmurdu' (see attached screenshot). The file attached to the email is a text file containing what the team call a 'Config Flag' and can be used to activate or deactivate various functions normally hidden from the user (e.g. crash tracing logs). If you're concerned that the file may be a virus, which it almost certainly isn't, then drop Suhas an email and explain your concerns.

BTW, when a crash log is auto generated by LrC there is a dialog displayed that allows you add more info. The dialog includes a field for your account email, which is normally prefilled, and a checkbox agreeing to Adobe making direct contact with you.

I tried to check it through online chat with the support group. They told me to trash.
