Just getting started on a new iMac and the LR import panel does not show the DEVICES header. The drives and card readers are listed and functional. I would like to set the "eject after import" setting, but that option is not visible.

Thoughts anyone??

Insert an SD/CF card or connect your phone to make 'Devices' visible.

Some time back Adobe attempted to deprecate the use of Devices. Being in favor of using Files. They had some issues with some members use of Devices. As a result the Devices may not initially show up if no device is actually connected. Apparently they prefer we use Files not Devices.

That being said. Do you have a device, such as a camera , attached? Just tested my rig. If no device is attached I only see Files, if I attach my X-T5, then I see Devices (and files).

Is the card Cfexpress? For performance reasons, both Mac and Windows tell LR that Cfexpress cards are non-removable media (like an external disk drive), so LR won't present the Devices section or the Eject option.

Cfexpress cards have always worked this way on Windows LR, but the behavior changed in Mac LR 12.4 to be like that on Windows:

You could submit a feature request that LR recognize Cfexpress cards specially and provide the Eject option:
