I havent used LR in a couple of weeks at least. Using it now I decided to try the Synchronize with 15 or so NEFs and it froze. Had to kill it via Task Manager but now the application just freezes with any task/process in the Develop Module.

Are you able to repeat this error with less images? Is this the first time this has occured? Have you completely power cycled your system? What do have for cache settings in your preferences? The title of your post says this is the first time you tried synchronize... please explain what settings you were trying to sync.
