Trouble installing presets

I am having a really hard time installing two preset packs I just purchased. I tried to install the zip folder. It said upload complete but they did not show up. I then extracted the files and tried to up load them and now its says the presets already exist. Yes the box is check to show partially compatable presets in my preferences. I am at a loss and don't know what else to do.

Have you:

• Selected an image
• Clicked on + in the Presets Panel, selected to Manage, and noticed if the presets appear, and if they are checked
• Restarted LrC, may not be required, but what if

and tried to up load them 

By that do you mean Import them?

two preset packs I just purchased.

And these are Develop prests, not Profile presets?
