Firstly, I consider this a bug, because it bugs the hell out of me and probably a lot of other people who create and edit images for a living..,
Why do you still insist on adding dropshadows to the image previews, Library, Develop, Survey Preview???
What I DON'T want to see when I'm comparing images, colour correcting, editing down and generally talking a good look at my clients work, is.........
DROPSHADOWS IN THE INTERFACE !
They just get in the fkn way of what I'm trying to achive, they separate images, they make it impossible to compare image edges or a sequence of images in Survey mode.
Whilst I'm here >>> GET RID OF ALL THE SCREEN CRAP IN SURVEY MODE TOO??
I want to survey MY images. not what junk some Dev thought was a good idea to have CLUTTER the screen!
Who in their right mind at Adobe thought (maybe they are NPC's and don't use brains?) that it would be a good idea to lock in dropshadows for image reviewing????
What I need, like any other creative professional, is the OPTION to turn this crap off when I want.
AT A MINIMUM.
Fakkin paying for this software for decades and still you can't make a decent interface, LRC still lags and bugs out on a 4k screen --- > Adobe >> you take 10 years to catch up with anything...
Maybe in 10 years, someone at Adobe will get around to fixing this nonsens.

BTW, you want to get rid of the drop shadow which isn't a bug, do this:
"Problem" gone!
