Umzug von Win auf iMac, Lightroom Classic

Hallo,

ich habe mein Lightroom Classic (Katalog) von Win auf IMac umgezogen. 

Meine Fotos befinden sich, wie vorher, auf meinem Synology NAS. 

Nachdem ich meinen Katalog erfolgreich wieder auf dem neuen IMac installiert habe, sind meine Fotos nicht mehr auffindbar. Siehe beigefügtes Bildschirmfoto.

Wenn ich "Fehlende Ordner suchen" starte, wir mir die Fehlermeldung "interner Fehler/Invalid Path" angezeigt.

Wie kann ich den Pfad für meinen Foto-Ordner ändern?

Werden auch meine Bildänderungen übernommen?

Do you still have access to your Windows PC? Some users who switched from PC to Mac and had similar issues with their NAS found that they had to open the catalog on a Windows machine, map the network share to a drive letter, and update it in Lightroom. Then, they saved it back to the Mac, reopened the catalog, and were able to update the folder location.

Hi @helmuth40722760! No worries at all. 😊

First, try this: Right-click on the top-level folder in Lightroom and select "Update Folder Location" to point it to the NAS location on your new machine.

If that doesn't work, here's a slightly more complex workaround that has helped others:

1. Transfer the Catalog to a Windows PC: Move your Lightroom catalog file back to a Windows machine.

2. Map NAS to a Drive Letter: Map your Synology NAS to a drive letter (like Z: or X:) on the Windows PC. The steps may vary depending on the Windows version you're using. On Windows 11 you see that option by clicking the 3 dots in "This PC".
   

3. Open the Catalog on Windows: Open the Lightroom catalog on the Windows PC and update the folder location in Lightroom.

4. Save and Transfer Back: Save the updated catalog and transfer it back to your Mac.

5. Open on Mac: Finally, open the updated catalog on your Mac and verify that the folder location is correct.

für Deine Hilfe bin ich sehr dankbar:-)

Hier ist der aktuelle Stand:

- Die Bilder befinden sich (wie vorher) auf meinem NAS. Hier wurde nichts verändert.

- An meinem alten Win-PC habe ich immer noch Zugriff auf Lightroom Classic.

- Auf dem Mac sind alle Einstellungen und Presets wie auf dem Win-PC vorhanden.

Zu meinen Problemen:

1. am Mac habe ich in Lightroom Classic meinen "alten" Ordner. Wurde vom Katalog beim Wechsel importiert. Leider sind die Bilder nicht hinterlegt. Alle Ordner mit "?"

Es ist nicht möglich die Ordner mit Rechtsklick "fehlende Ordner" zu suchen. Hier erscheint der Fehler "Invalid path". (siehe Bildschirmkopie)

2. Ich habe zusätzlich einen neuen Ordner mit dem Zielordner auf dem NAS angelegt. Die Importierung dauerte sehr lange. Nun sind alle meine Bilder sichtbar. Aber ab dem Datum 2016 sind bis auf wenige Ausnahmen (ca 5 Stück) keine Änderungen/Metadateien/Stichwörter übernommen worden. Ich sehe ab 2016 in den Unterordnern nur die Originalbilder ohne Bearbeitung. (Siehe Bildschirmkopie)

3. In meinen Sammlungen werden keine Bilder angezeigt. Es erschein ein "!".

4. Die Sammlungen in Lightroom online werden auf meinem IPad jedoch alle angezeigt.

Leider bin ich etwas ratlos...
