Unable to backup on exit (Low Space Warning)

New Here ,

I am currently running Lightroom Classic 11.1 on my iMac (which is also fully up to date with the latest iOS) and it is struggling to give me previews of my images once they are imported.

I can click on a file, without a preview, and it will eventually load on my screen.

Once I've gotten to the point of quitting the application and trying to back up my catalog, it can no longer back up to it's original folder. It's telling me I do not have the space. I went to check my harddrive and I have over 3TB of space available. I tried to choose another location for it to back up to, and it still will not back up my work.

I'm losing so many edits without backing up. I've had to export every edit one by one because once I click away from it, I can't find where I was because my image previews won't load.

When is the next update to fix these supposed fixed bugs?!

I'm about to uninstall 11.1

Bring up, on the MAC, Security and Privacy, Look at Privacy, check permissions in Files and Folders, Lightroom Classic should be included, does it have rights to all drives? Also what about Full Disk access (tyically overkill, but some like that)

Also, outside of LrC, can you copy your catalog, placing a copy in your backup location? And do you have a backup app other than via LrC?

Typo?

MACOS not iOS, this is not a iPad or smart phone.

Please post a screenshot of the dialog you get when you try to backup the catalog.
