Dear Adobe Community:

System:  Mac Mini OS Sequoia 15.1.1   Lots of RAM and room on 5TB HD., the import destination.

Ever since I upgraded to latest OS,  I've been unable to import photos from iPhone 13 Pro to LR Classic 14.0.1

I go through the steps but then nothing happens when I click on "Import"...The progress bar in upper left corner just shows no progress at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be going on?

Thanks,

Frank

PS to my post...I also notice that the "New Photos" selection makes no difference now, I just get all the existing photos on my iPhone instead of "New Photos" in the Library window for import.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

I assume you're connecting the Iphone to the Mac with a USB cable? As a first step, try using the Image Capture app to copy photos from the phone to a folder on the Mac, and then import into LR from there. Does that work?

Thanks, John...I've never used the Image Capture app.  I just found it with Spotlight Search.  I'll have to figure it out, but I'll give it a try.  I appreciate this tip.  BTW I was able to download images from my Fujifilm XT100 with no problem.   I've got about a zillion photos on my iPhone 13Pro which might be the problem.   Anyway, I'll post when I get it figured out. Many thanks and have a great day.  Frank
