Unable to exit preferences > interface > panels > font size

On the advice of another forum post I increased the font size in the panels to "larger" (200%) because I am straining to read the text without making the screen so bright that it messes up any hope of editing images accurately.

Anyway, "larger" is way too large but because it has blown up the size of the preferences window I now cannot change it back because there is no scroll bar to get down to the save (and Ctl S doesn't do the trick either).

I'd really like to either have a keyboard shortcut to save my reversion of the font size OR even better the ability to increase the contrast in the panels.

Thanks in anticipation.

Pressing Enter applies the changes. (same as clicking OK)

Pressing Escape closes the dialog without applying changes. (same as clicking Cancel)

There is no way to create a keyboard shortcut for Font size.

And there is no way to change the contrast of the user interface.

I think there is already a feature request for the ability to change the contrast of the user interface.

You will have to search for it.

Thanks Per. That solves the immediate problem. Yes, I saw there was a 2022 request to change the contrast of the user interface. I guess all the development is now in the cloud. I'd go there except in the middle of the countryside without a reliable broadband connection ... Cheers.

Many of us were worried when the cloud version was introduced and the old Lightroom was renamed to Classic, which we took as a sign that it would soon be retired, or at least not being further developed.

Fortunately, we were wrong. LrC has gone through a tremendous development in recent years with loads of new features and improvements.

But the interface hasn't changed since version 1 in 2007, and it's about time we get an option to customize it.

That's encouraging. And yes - would be glad of customising the panels as a featre
