When I try to import by selecting the Apple Photo library I have the following message: The selection is not an iPhoto library (the drive import plugin requires version 9.5.1 or later). I have the latest version of LrC.

"selecting the Apple Photo library I have the following message: The selection is not an iPhoto library"

The built-in plugin Aperture/iPhoto Importer Plugin only imports from the old iPhoto app, not the dumbed-down Photos app that replaced it. To import from Photos, you've got these options:

1. Import from Photos into the Lightroom desktop app and then sync from LR cloud into LR Classic (you'll need enough storage in your LR cloud plan).

2. Use the Avalanche program.

3. Export the photos from the Photos app and import them into LR Classic.
