Unable to locate masking tools after update

You need to read the pop-up dialog that appears whenever a new version is used for the first time. Or, in Lightroom Classic go to Help->What's New, or view any one of the dozens of video tutorials on YouTube about the new features.

From the translation to English:

Why are you tinkering with Lightroom Classic? Can't you do the nonsense on Lightroom and just leave Classic alone?

We're not Adobe in this forum, we are other Lightroom Classic users who do not make decisions to change the software. If you have concerns, you probably need to discuss this with Adobe, and that isn't here in the Discussions part of the Adobe Support Community. By the way, most people (not all) seem to think the new masking changes are fantastic, and that's probably why Adobe makes changes, to give improved features in its software.

You are talking about adjustment brush presets, not separate tools. These presets should still be available. If not, then they can easily be restored or recreated.
