Unable to log in to Lightroom app on Mac

I created an adobe account about 2 years ago and when I went to put the recovery email as the login email, I mistyped and entered it as an email address that doesn't exist. I can log into the app on my phone just fine and my internet browser lightroom successfully. But when I try to log in to the lightroom app on my mac it wants to send the verification code to the incorrect email.  When I tried calling support they were no help as they couldnt change the recovery email. Any help would be appreciated.

Just go to your account page at account.adobe.com . Sign in there with your username and password, and you can manage your personal information including email addresses.
