I have two folders on my J drive, one entitled Favourites and one Favourites 2. No images are duplicated in both. When selecting all images in Favourites 2, I drag and drop into Favourites,

I receive the message shown here. Thoughts?

Check the permissions on both folders. You need Write permission on both.

Alternative (highly recommended): change the entire method of your organizing, so that you are using keywords and other metadata, and then folder moves are unnecessary.

That seems to have done it. Many thanks.

Can you give more info on your alternative method? The favourites is not my normal method...usually by date folder.

Every photo has relevant keywords. If you assign keyword "Favorite" to some photos, and then want them in "Favorite 2", you just change the keywords, there's no moving of photos involved. Also works with Collections.
