I cannot open LR anymore, when tried to open my default catalog, appeared as corrupted, so I tried to open a Backup file, after the repair window, only shows: Lightroom - Opening Catalog: Canada 2023.lrcat and nothing happens
After force quit the app, tried to open another catalog from explorer, and LR tried to open the Canada catalog again, no matter what catalog I select. Completely unusable.
Reverted LR to the previous version and update it again, always with the same result.

I think I have a similar issue, in the library tab it shows the spots images should be in the film strip but when I click them nothing happens. if I go to the develop tab and click a grey box in the film strip an image comes up.
I opened a back up the same thing, I optimized the catalog and rebuilt previews to no avail.

The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.
Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

If Lightroom doesn't start correctly the please see "Solution 2" in the document behind the link below.

Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

If this doesn't help we need more informations about your environment.
Please provide also a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item.
There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.
Do you get an error message? If yes, please post the exact message or an screenshot.

Thank you for the help, these didn't work for me. but I was able to get them back by resetting some advanced color management setting back to the system default.
