From finder, external HD or Bacup disk, I am unable to reopen my Lr 6. files. Backup every day, prodused several books via blurb, but today no go.

Google translation of error: "Lightroom quit unexpectedly. Click Open again to open the program again. Click Reports to view more detailed information and submit a report to Apple."

If you click Reports, you should be able to view a detailed crash log (many lines). Copy and paste that log here, and we can often identify the proximate cause and point you at possible workarounds. One issue with LR 6 is that its face recognition no longer works and can cause crashes. The crash log could confirm that.

Hmm, in crash reports there's usually a "stack trace" that shows what the program was doing at the time of the crash -- that's not included in what you pasted.  I'm not expert in Apple crash reports to tell you exactly where to find that, unfortunately.

Åpne igjen/open again: the window reeopens with the same message. The other, Rapporter.. goes to Adobe and the ignore one cleses the window. Thats that.
