I am trying to open one of my LR Classic catalogues. It is already on version 13-3 but it's telling me that I need to upgrade it in order to open it. When I hit the upgrade button, all I get is a spinning pie. I have tried this multiple times on two different computers. Another catalogue that I use is on version 13-3 and it opens with no problem. Any suggestions for how to resolve this problem?
You are on the current version. When you open a catalog with it, it will check to see if it is the current format. If not, it will re-structure it to match the program version. You wrote that other catalogs work so that suggests the problem catalog is somehow flawed or corrupted.

What version of LrC are you using? The current version is 15.0.1.
Adobe stopped changing the file name with version numbers. If you open a catalog with the current version, it will be an upgraded catalog, regardless of the catalog file name.
If a catalog does not open, it may be corrupted at the operating system level. You may have to locate and use your backup catalog file.

Thanks for your quick reply. I am on 15.0.1. Does that mean I definately need to go to my backup file, since I am running the latest version of LR?

If that didn't work I would then try the most current backup you have of that catalog.
