Undo command (cmd+z) reverts multiple adjustments instead of only one

Some months ago I noticed that when editing, if I adjust two sliders, or one slider twice in quick succession and use the undo keyboard command it reverts the last two adjustments instead of only the most recent. I've looked around the forums for similarly reported issues but no luck.

Ideally, I'd like if the undo command (cmd+z) undoes the last adjustment only the last adjustment. If you're trying to do some intuitive undo behavior it would be nice if you gave users the ability to decide how it behaves.
