Hi,

I applied diffent level of texture to a DNG (see screeenshots before and after)

high texture 13.08.01.png

low texture 13.07.03.png

and got horizontal "lines" into it and was wondering how to prevent that...
some technical data: Imac with Catalina,  LR classic 11.5., import from sony ILCE 6000

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but I don't see any "lines" in both screenshots.

But if you overdo the appropriate settings it is possible that you generate artifacts or other unwanted effects in your pictures.

Develop settings should always be done with care and caution.
