Update to 14.0 does not finish backup when exiting

I did the upgrade to 14.0 for Lightroom Classic and no it will not finish the backup when exiting. Get the message during the compression that it can't finish it. Tried twice and on different drives with plenty of space left. I am always signed in as administrator. Any thoughts Adobe?

I had the same problem.
I closed and reopened LR and it worked

Yes, many people seem to have this issue, but it solves itself by closing and reopening Lightroom Classic. From that moment onwards catalog backps work as before.

I tried closing it and reopening and still didn't work. I renamed the catalog and it works fine now.

I upgraded this morning from LrC 13.5.1 to LrC 14.0 on my Win PC, the Catalog was Upgraded without  any issue.

I am able to Backup on exit without issue.

I just have one thought, before you upgraded your LrC 13.3 Catalog, did you have any unsynced images with your Adobe Creative Cloud?

I have the same issue. windows 11 and tried to create back and had several backup issues. Not sure if I have a proper update.
