Hi all. Recently LR 6 "quit unexpectedly " on my iMac after importing images from my iPhone (It would open then immediately quit). I have restored LR 6 from an earlier backup, but I now wish to upgrade from LR 6.14, presently on Sierra 10.12.6, to a current plan, probably Classic, and a suitable mac OS. I'm not sure of the best sequence of actions, or what is the best Mac OS. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Robin

Take a look at the system requirement for Lightroom:

Lightroom Classic system requirements (adobe.com)

There you'll see that the minimum requirement for the operationg sysem is Mojave (10.14) or later.

The recommended OS is macOS Catalina (version 10.15) or Big Sur (version 11).

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 10 Pro 22H2 -- LR-Classic 13.2 - Photoshop 25.6 - Nik Collection 6.9 - PureRAW 4 - Topaz Photo AI 2
