User Print Templates in LR Classic 15 Lost Their Associated Color Profiles

I just went to print for the first time after upgrading from LR v14 and discovered to my dismay that all of my custom print templates in LR 15 on Windows had reverted to Color "Managed By Printer". The dozens of color calibration profiles I have for various printer/paper combinations had become unlinked from my templates. In addition, the drop down list of available profiles (the ones from "Choose profiles to appear in the popup") was empty.

I managed to track down the problem to a case sensitivity issue by diffing one of the print templates I repaired against the copy that worked fine with LR 14 and earlier. In all of the lrtemplate files and the LrTemplateCache.lrcache in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Print Templates, LR14 and earlier had written the paths to my color profiles using upper case for my Windows directory like this:

printingProfile = "C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\spool\\drivers\\color\\Canon Pixma PRO-100 XPS - Red River Palo Duro Softgloss Rag.icm",

when in fact, my Windows directory is proper case. Apparently, earlier versions of LR didn't care about the case mismatch in the icm paths. After I did a global search and replace of "WINDOWS" -> "Windows" to all files in my C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Print Templates directory, LR 15 now loads my print templates with their correct associated color calibration.

Hey, @dzeleznik. Thanks for your patience. Our team has investigated this issue and was unable to reproduce it when updating from Lightroom Classic v14 to v15. If possible, provide a few profiles that exhibit the issue and would still behave the same way if the changes were reversed.

Please upload the profiles to any cloud file-sharing service and share a public link here, or via direct messages.

@Sameer KI retrieved a copy of my C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Print Templates directory from a backup before I updated to LR v15 which you can grab here: http://gofile.me/6V6oT/foCN6sLTP. These are print templates that I built from LR v8 to v14. To test, completely replace your C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Print Templates directory with the contents of the zip file.

In LR14 (and earlier), selecting one of the Canon Pixma Pro 100 print profiles in the Print Module will show that the correct color calibration file is selected under Color Management. For example:

 

However, when the same print templates are loaded into LR v15 they show color management is Managed by Printer:

If I globally search-and-replace "WINDOWS" with "Windows" in all files in the Print Templates directory, the templates load correctly in LR15 and show the correct associated color calibration file.
