I do AI masks for like teeth whitening and skin etc.... but when I have already or do the healing tool. Or if I add a layer for lets say darkening the back drop. I think this loooks good go on to the next photo per my usual or even if I export immediately it will not save. If I go to another photo and then back it shows read ill click updated all in the healing area and itll redo it all but wont save it. Same goes for all the other steps......what causes this and how do I fix it?

Can you explain more? I have a hard time understanding your problem. You first screenshot shows a photo in Lightroom (desktop). Your second and third screenshots show a different photo, in Lightroom Classic. They seem to be the same screenshot, however. What I see is that the masks need to be updated. That is normal if you use the Healing brush after applying an AI mask, even though the brush will probably not have affected these masks (but Lightroom can't check that).

You then talk about doing something on the background, but the screenshots do not show any background mask. Could it be that you created such a mask and then turned on the mask overlay to make it show black? That is a common misunderstanding. The mask overlay only shows you what is masked and what is not masked. There are several views to choose from, and one of them shows the mask as normal and the non-masked area pure black. Many people think that is a great way to make the background black, but that is not true. The overlay is just a view, not an edit. If you go to the next photo, the mask will disappear because you did not make any edit in this mask. Is that what you tried to show? To make the background black, you would have to invert the mask and then use the Exposure slider set to -5 to make the background black.

Gotcha well they are all in the same light room classic. So my issue is when I do the left side edits lets say AI teeth or the enhance clothing itll do it. Then if I heal anything with the right side task bar it all looks great Ill have it done etc. go to the next photos do the same go. Then if I go back or if I go to export all of them it doesnt show the edits. But for example if I click on the healing it will say update all and I click it and it redoes the edits. Then Ill click on the right side (furthest to the right icon to check back ground and such edits) and it will have a triable warning sign click on it and itll redo all the other edits. But I have to export each photo after doing that to each one. Hope that makes sense.

I am a MAC user. And I have checked Adobe, lightroom classic and my computer and all of them show that I have current updated versions. I have a MAC Studio and its 4 months old no issues until now.

Sounds like the masks aren't saved properly by Lightroom. There is a long thread about that (https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/ai-masks-healing-constantly-undo-and-ne...). What works for some, but not all, is to open your catalog folder and delete 'Catalogname.lrcat-data'. Just delete the one with 'data' at the end! Then when you have started Lightroom again, you need to rebuild all these masks one more time. Choose 'Develop Settings > Update all AI Settings'.
