Hello,

I can tether seamlessly with my Canon 6D old camera with exactly the same software.

But when I use my new Canon R6M2 + new TetherTool cable, LM connects with the camera, I can do live view, remote trigger. But after photos are taken, they do not show up on the designated folder.

What is going on? PLEASE HELP!

Hey, @AWFT. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Here are a few other things you can check:

1—Do you also use the Canon EOS utility on the laptop? The EOS utility has the option to save on the camera and the drive, which could interfere with Lightroom.

2—If there is a storage card inside the camera, as a test, remove it & restart the camera while it is connected to your laptop & wait for Lightroom Classic to detect it again.

3—Restart the camera while it is connected to the computer.

Let me know how it goes from here,

Thanks!
