Upgraded my SSD and went to download and reinstall LR 5 to find there are longer any links. Spoke to Chat Help who said I should post on here. My case reference is: ADB-22959975-H6T0
Could anyone please assist an old and frustrated man.
Thank you
martin

Assume you've already got your valid serial number which you will need to enter to complete the installation.
Download the installer from https://prodesigntools.com/lightroom-5-ddl-comparison-vs-lr4.html
Scroll down to the section entitled "Adobe Lightroom 5 Direct Download Links".
Download links for ancient versions are fast disappearing. There is no guarantee of that link being around forever so I suggest you store the installer (and serial number as a separate text file) somewhere safe for future reference so you don't have to rely on downloads. I use Dropbox for storing installers and serial numbers so I can access them anywhere.

Thank you for your help. The link has downloaded the program, AMAZING.
Sadly, it doesn't like my serial number for some reason. Copied and pasted from my Adobe account. Oh, one out of two isn't bad. Here comes another customer service 'chat'

I don't think you can download a version of Lightroom that is that old any more, I'm afraid. I bought Lightroom 6 some years ago and have just tried to download the installer again from my account but it is not available - there is just a message saying that some older software may not be available any more. This will be very annoying as you paid for it and would have been able to use it had you now upgraded your SSD.
I hope someone will comment and prove me wrong. I don't know if Ebay would have any old versions, on CD?

Ah - I see someone replied while I was typing!
I think I see now why the Adobe person advised you to come here.

Thank you. I have reluctantly moved to a subscription now - I just tried the downloading to see if it would work for the OP.
