Where is History

I've noticed, for a while now, that the History tab doesn't show all edit stages. The Import date and time is at the bottom of the list like in pic 1, pic 2 shows some but not all of the edits, pic 3 shows nothing despite edits have been made. How do I find the missing info?

Try resetting the preferences.

Hi, just tried that but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

If you haven’t tried this already, another possible solution is to choose File > Optimize Catalog, in case the History problem is related to inconsistencies in the catalog database.

Hi, catalog was last optimized 19/10/2022 but this problem has been around for a while now.

Were the missing history steps performed prior to your upgrade to LR 12?  Several people have reported that the upgrade lost some or all history steps:
