I was wondering if anyone else is seeing this...

I just upgraded to Lightroom Classic 13.3.1 (Intel MacBook Pro os v 14.5 (23F79)) and I’m experiencing some bizarre behavior in collections.

While, in the development module I will be working away and then for no rhyme or reason the photo will disappear, and I get the message "No photo selected"

When I go back to the grid view, the image has been removed from the collection. It’s still exists in the catalog, but not in the collection.

The issue happens with both virtual copies and direct links.

Do you have an active filter? If you have a filter that filters on unedited images, then any edits you make will cause the image to be filtered out. Same if that collection is a smart collection that searches unedited images.

No Filters are applied that was the first thing I checked... even if I had an active filter applied that shouldn't cause the file being REMOVED from the Collection.

Not litterally, but as long as the filter is active, the photo seems to be removed because it won't show in that collection.

Is the collecting involved a Smart Collection? If so, what are the collections rules?

No it isn't a Smart Collection... Just a regular Collection however it is my Target Collection, but I've turned it on and off getting the same behavior.
