White screen every time i edit a picture

I have a bug where each time I edit a picture my the app crash and all the pictures and preview  became white, and I have to close the app and restart each time!

I have a lenovo yoga i9

Please go to the Help menu in Lightroom, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.

You can try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor in Lightroom by going to the Edit menu, then Preferences, and then Performance. 

 

Let us know if it makes a difference!

Hey, @virgil_pabloh9255. Thanks for sharing the system info and the updates. 

 

You're working with the latest drivers for the Intel ARC Graphics processor on your machine. A slightly older, but WHQL certified driver might help stabilize the GPU behavior you're seeing.

 

Please roll back to a previous version of Graphics drivers from Intel's website: https://adobe.ly/489FXaB;

After you've rolled back the graphics drivers, follow these steps to clear the GPU logs for Lightroom.

On Windows, the GPU info & Logs location is %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw. A shortcut to get to this folder on Windows is:

  • Press the Windows + R
  • Enter %APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw

  • Rename the GPU & Logs folder in this directory by adding .old at the end. (GPU.old & Logs.old)
  • Restart Lightroom Classic, which should capture the updated driver & hardware capabilities.

hi, sorry for not reaching out sooner, i did all the things but it didnt work, im gonna try to uninstall completly lightroom classic , by removing every document but im a little bit scarde to make this moove

Thank you for the update, and I understand the hesitation before performing a full uninstall.

 

Before going that route, please try updating to the latest Lightroom Classic build (15.1) released today and test again to see if the behavior changes. This release includes stability fixes that may help with the white screen issue you’re seeing.

 

If the problem still occurs after updating:

 

• Please share a short screen recording showing the app turning white or crashing when you start editing

• Also confirm whether this happens with all photos or only specific files

 

That will allow us to review this with the product team and check if there’s a known issue with your setup.
