Is there any particular reason after all these years, LR still does not support running multiple catalogs at once? Premiere can do it. It would be INCREDIBLY useful for many people I am sure. I have probably opened and closed 50 catalogs within the last 30 minutes as i compare various things between them all. its infuriating. The only "solution" i can think of is to "import from another catalog", do what i need to do, and then export that whole thing back out to a new catalog. This is so ridiculous. Sorry if I sound rude, but please Adobe, think about offering us this functionality!!!!

Comparing Lightroom Classic and Adobe Premiere is comparing apples and oranges. These are totally different applications. About the only thing they have in common is that they are both Adobe software, but apart from that, why would 'Premiere can do this' be an argument that Lightroom Classic should be able to do it too?
P.S. the fact that you opened 50 catalogs is the best possible argument for using one single catalog rather than multiple catalogs. That is how Lightroom Classic was designed.

I think the specific reason you are asking for is that this is not a design feature of Lightroom Classic. Sure, Adobe could do it but its not on their list of things to do. Using software in a way that is different to the way it was designed to work best is usually an exercise in frustration.

Having seen multiple catalogs in relation to LrC discussed many times, and the consensus I think I've seen that you only need one in a majority of cases, I'm curious if your use of 50 catalogues is driven by features thar Premiere does not have in relation to LrC Library features. Curious what drove you to having so many catalogues.
