  • moving the software itself
  • moving the catalog file
  • moving the photos
  • some combination of the above
  • something else

 

Also, do you mean Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon)?

Hi dj_paige! 

I've the same question as hexenschuss above. 

I would like to move the software itself (LrC) and the catalog file.

Can I deinstall it and then reinstall it on another harddrive without loosing

all the information included like collections, smart collections, edits of not exported

images, keywords, different folders, etc...?

Generally, you don't move the software to a different drive. Why do you want to do that?

 

It's easy to move the catalog to a different drive, but why do you want to do that?

 

Please explain the entire problem, from the beginning.
