Lightroom Classic Version Number: 11.5
OS Version Number: Windows 11 (resolution: 3840x2160, scale: 200%)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enable filters (Library > Enable Filters),

2. Select Metadata filter,

3. Resize filter height,

4. Restart app.

Expected result:

Library Filters stay same height after app restart.

Actual result:

Library Filters height is doubled.

This issue also can be reproduced on earlier Lightroom Classic versions.

Also this issue is reproduced only when Windows scale is greater than 100%. E.g. resolution is 3840x2160 and scale is 100% - height same size after restart.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out with the details. I'd love to help you figure this out.

Go to the following location on Windows and set the scaling options in explorer to find out what works best for your setup.

  • C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic
  • Right-click on Lightroom.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Change Settings for all users > Change High DPI Settings > High DPI Scaling Override > Check the option 'Override High DPI scaling behavior.' > Scaling Performed by > Test & choose from the following options one by one > Application, System & System (Enhanced)
  • Apply each of these settings and test which works best for you.

Let me know if this works,

Thanks!

Hi!

Tried it and here are the results:

  • Application - everything looks same as without enabling this Application scaling override,
  • System - app looks pixelated, like decreasing resolution to 1920x1080,
  • System (Enhanced) - similar to System, but all application looks buggy (folders in catalog disappears when hovered, mouse icon is small, pixelated thumbnails, etc.) - bad experience.
