Hi,
I started working on two different computers and accidently had not turned on "Store Presets with Catalog." My color labels are now a mess on both computers.
Can you please help?
Thank you, Alex

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Custom color label sets are also presets. When you enable 'Store Presets with this catalog', then they are not moved by Lightroom from the default location to the new location inside the catalog folder. You will have to do that yourself, or recreate the set(s). The default locations can be found here:

I'll work on wrapping my brain around that.
In the meantime, is there quick fix to get back the years of color lables that have gone missing other than replacing the entire catalog from a backup?
Thank you!

Replacing the catalog by a backup won't solve this. The catalog contains the labels as text. What color you see for this text is defined by the color label set that you have defined in the Metadata - Color Label Set menu. https://mastering-lightroom.com/color-labels-lightroom-classic/
