When cropping images, changing aspect ratios currently requires opening the aspect ratio dropdown each time. For workflows that involve frequent switching between common ratios (for example As Shot, 5x7, 8x10, 4x5), this adds unnecessary friction.
Suggestion:
Provide a way to cycle through standard aspect ratios while the Crop tool is active, such as:
A keyboard shortcut to step forward or backward through a user-defined list of ratios
Or a “sticky” or “magnetic” behavior (possibly a modal key while resizing) where common ratios snap as the crop is adjusted
This would allow photographers to evaluate multiple aspect ratios quickly without repeatedly opening the dropdown.
Use case:
High-volume editing and print-oriented workflows would benefit significantly from faster aspect ratio switching during cropping.
