P: Add Lens Metadata Support for Analog and Uncoded Digital Images

I’d love to see a built-in way to add or edit lens metadata in Lightroom for images shot with analog cameras or with uncoded lenses on digital bodies (e.g. third-party lenses for Leica M).

Right now, the only options are clunky third-party tools or workarounds that aren’t integrated into my Lightroom workflow. This feature would be a huge help for photographers who regularly shoot film or use third-party glass on digital cameras.

I’m not looking for anything overly complex—just a simple way to tag lens make, model, and focal length. Perhaps Adobe could add a metadata field to indicate when EXIF data was changed manually.

I know some folks enjoy hacking EXIF data with command-line tools or plugins, but I’m not that kind of geek. I'd really appreciate a user-friendly solution within Lightroom Classic or Lightroom CC.

Thanks for considering it!
