P: Automatically Add Collection Information From Original To Enhanced Image (NR)

Currently, the Enhanced Image (NR) will NOT carry the Collection Information of the original image. I suggest that a check box in the Preference Form can be added like the Keyword (Automatically add keywords to Enhanced image), so that there is a way to automatically add Collection Information from original to enhanced images.

While waiting for the new feature, you can use Syncomatic plugin to sync the collections between one or more pairs of enhanced/original photos.

It is strange that only the Collection Informations are not carried from Original to the Enhanced image.

All other meta data are carried like the EXIF, GPS and keywords,

In general, LR only copies the industry-standard metadata fields stored inside the photo. Collections are stored only in the catalog, not industry-standard fields.

The same behavior occurs when you make a virtual copy -- the copy gets all the metadata fields but not the collections.

I'm not justifying this, just providing a little more context about how LR operates.
