Compared to the alternatives from Capture One and DXO the repair tools are much less flexible.
Therefore I would love to see the following improvements:
- Add/Substract to/from existing pin to fine tune selection. Currently you have to get your selection right at first attempt or start over again if you didn't (like in Capture One)
- When cloning allow for scaling/rotation of the cloned area (like in DXO)
- Maybe incorporate the object selection tool into the repair tool (would be a bonus, the upper two point are the more important ones in my opinion
These enhancements would greatly improve the usability of the repair tool and would make round trips to Photoshop less needed
