It would be very useful to be able to turn off annoying dropshadows and the selected image highlight box in survey mode and comparison modes.
- When in survey mode with a white or light background, why do I need to have "your" dropshadows showing and distracting "my surveying" of images. They are NOT part of my imagery and this is distracting when sequencing and editing series of images.
- When in these modes using a dark background, you give us an annoying white bounding box for the selected image; again, its NOT part of my image, it is a distraction.
Request:
Add the option to turn these off. Either in preferences or within the interface.
For the bounding box highlight: Maybe just by clicking on blank space between images so that nothing is selected and no images get this effect until selected (survey mode).
Why?
Because, when comparing 2 (or more) images side by side (or in survey) for colour correction,. grading, or whatever, having design elements getting in the way, distracting the eye is NOT a clever idea. It's just screen clutter detracting from the editing and sequencing process.
