P: Progress bar for CPU consuming tasks

When applying tasks to a larger collection of images this might take a considerable amount of time and CPU capacity. In the meanwhile I can instruct LR to do some other taskes. This might impose a very high stress on CPU. Therefore I would like to know if one task has finished before I start another task. For instance.: I like to start with applying all my images with auto AI settings as a starting point and to do a denoise for all images with higher iso values. Both of them are CPU consuming tasks if there are a lot of images. I would like to know if one task has finished before starting the other. I would like to be able to see a task queue and the state (percentage) of the task.

Normally, LR does display a progress bar in the upper-left corner indicating that a long-running task is running. If you click on it, you can usually see more details, e.g.

Are you not seeing a progress bar for particular commands?

I am using LR classic and not seeing  prgressbar for applying auto AI to a set of images. I get the progress bar while exporting and a popup window for denoising.

By "auto AI", do you mean applying a preset setting the profile to Adaptive Color, clicking the Quick Develop > Auto button, or something else?
