P: Remove dimming effect in Import Dialog

Hello
When I import photos I want to select the ones I want to import and not import all BUT it is difficult to see how the images look like when they are dimmed. I would love Adobe to remove the dfimmed effect and replace it with something else like a green or red symbol instead.
As it is now, i have to click the pics in order to see the ones I like and then click off in order to deselect. If i could see all the images once as they are, it would be such a smoother and quicker process.
