P: set the number of stored history states

History really needs work. Why can't you set the number of stored history states like in Photoshop? Also, why is navigation and turning flag filtering on or off still part of history? That's crazy. It's a waste of the limited history states and a waste of time. You'd think file changes/moves would be the priority. Maybe there should be an edits/organization history plus a navigation history or at least a setting to turn off navigation history.

I think you're referring to the history used by the Undo / Redo commands, right? (Usually, people use "history" to refer to the History panel in the Develop module, which only contains the history of changes to settings in Develop.)

I've always disliked that Undo / Redo mixes together changes to navigation, non-develop metadata, and develop settings.  I've more than once accidentally undone changes because of that.

Yep, I much prefer shortcuts over extra mousing. It really slows down your workflow when you're just trying to undo the changes within a folder of images.
