You are going to have to post screen shots of what you are trying to describe.

I persoanlly never use Drag and Drop from a folder on my drive to LrC. I open the Import dialog window by clicking the Import button in the Library module and then selecting the drive and folder I want to import from then check or uncheck images, files, DATA as you say, that I want to import.

I asked for Screen Shots. Not a Video. In any event please post that video on a video sharing site like YouTube and then post a link to it.

I persoanlly will not download to my computer a video you uploaded.

I made a video because it is hard to understand if it is a screenshot.

Instead of dragging and drop use the import dialog to import the image into your catalog. Does it behave better?

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, that is the same result.

Maybe a bug in lightroom.

I don't use lightroom anymore until the bug is fixed.

No bug, for this problem, in LrC. User Error of some type. Until you post a SCREEN SHOT of what you are seeing we can't tell what is either wrong with LrC or what YOU are doing wrong.

Not a drag and drop fan. Probably because I do not come from an Apple basis.

In my opinion, you are making this to difficult, select the images you want to import via mouse clicks and import them.

Not mentioned,

"import via mouse clicks and import them"

The result was the same.
