A panel in the book module is missing

Hello:

I am in the Lightroom book module. There is suppose to be a horizontal bar just above the thumbnails that contains the thumbnail slider at the right end of the bar and the book forward and backward arrows in the middle of the bar.

I must have accidentally pressed somthing because this bar is not visible on my screen.

Can anyone tell me how to get the bar to reappear?
