I shoot large panoramas and stitch in Photoshop. When they exceed 2GB in file size, they can only be saved with the large format 'psb' extension. They do not show up in my LR catalog. Is there a way to see and work with them in Lightroom? Thanks.

No. Lightroom does not support psb. Much requested but hasn't been added. Files larger than 2GB can only be done with tiff in Lightroom.

As Jao indicated, you can use TIFFs for files larger than 2 GB and smaller than 4 GB, but larger than 4 GB requires PSB.

I create a 'reference' jpeg and save in the same folder as the PSB. I then import the jpeg into LR. It's a bit clunky, but it works

The Any File plugin uses this same approach, but of course it's faster than doing it manually.

What? LR supports PSB files? Woo Hoo!! Just sync'd a folder with PSB's inside, and it found and cataloged the PSB files just like magic. Thank you, thank you, thank you, ADOBE!!! - Jim

LR CL 9.2 was released today with support for PSB files. Haven't tried it myself.
