All files requested to open from Lightroom to photoshop won't open

I am running the latest CC versions of LR and PS.  Everytime I request to open for example 7 files it will open 6 files and they are out of order?  This is lame.  Any ideas?

What type of system are you running, Windows or Mac?

What OS is being used?

How much RAM is installed?

What is the exact versions of both LR and PS?

Just tried it here on a Windows 7 Pro system with 16GBs of RAM with LR CC 2015.8 and PS 2017.0.1. All 7 images open in the correct numerical order and in the order of Capture Time, 0116.dng, 0121.dng, 0123.dng, 0124.dng, 0127.dng, 0128.dng and 6088.dng. All but one shot with a Leica M9. 6088.dng was shot with a Leica M8.

I know this has been moved but this has happened on all my Macs, iMac and MacBook Pro.  RAM varies from 16 to 32.  Latest versions and older versions. It does not happen every time.

Just tried on and iMac with 0SX 10.11.6 and 16GB ram.   CC2015.8.    8 images were selected and all 8 opened in Photoshop and in the correct order.

Are you selecting images in the Grid view area or the Film Strip?
