I'm honestly so exhausted from the nightmare that is Lightroom Classic.
Whenever I change catalogue it just freezes and won't start up, and hangs.
I then have to basically KEEP trying to open the LR Catalogue in the hope that it will just glitch and work.
Yes, GPU Acceleration is off.
I work on a lot of different weddings so I must spend about 30 mins each time just trying to get this to work.
Why is this happening?
Adobe, sort your s*** out. This isn't good enough.
On iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), with macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and latest LR Classic update.

Unfortunately, these types of issues are difficult to resolve because they are not universal. For instance, I'm using Lightroom Classic 10.1.1 on a Windows 10 computer, and I cannot replicate these issues you are describing. Some Mac users are describing the problems you are having, others are not. If you can display the system information in Lightroom Classic and copy the first 10 lines and post it for some of us to examine, perhaps we can provide some suggestions.
