Auch LrC 10.1.1 hängt sich auf

Leider ist auch das LrC 10.1.1 auf meinem iMac (Retina 5K, 27", Late 2015), 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5, 16GB RAM nicht stabil. Der iMac friert ein und man muss den Mac mit dem Einschaltknopf ausschalten.

Mit einem Downgrad auf LrC 10.0 ist alles wieder in Ordnung.

Dies ist auch schon mit der V 10.1 so gewesen.

The first thing that you should try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.

BTW: This isssue hasn't been fixed in 10.1.1. There's only a fix for the syncing issues.

Adobe is unable to fix this problem as it happens on almost all 5K screen iMac models. Contactning Adobe's support won't, as they have no idea how to solve this problem.
