Has anyone figured out how to make the images pop up sequentially in auto-import the same way it does when tethering?

"pop up sequentially"
Do you mean to show on screen as you add each photo to the Auto-In 'watched' folder?
In a small experiment it works for me-
I have the 'Destination' Folder selected in the Folder panel,
I have the Sort Order for Grid view set to 'Added Order'. And Sort Order A>Z.
Start with the 'last' image in the grid selected,
Set Loupe View,
As I drop files to the 'watched' folder one-by-one they appear on screen.

Thank you for the response WobertC.
What you described is how I have my system set up. However, if I use F for Full Frame the images don't pop up one by one any more. They freeze and don't move on as I shoot.
Any ideas anyone?

Just a thought- Instead of [F] full-frame:
1) Maximize the Lightroom window to full-screen
2) Press [Shift+Tab] to close all panels. Or use [Ctrl+Shift+F]
3) Press [E] for Loupe view
4) Press [L] for Lights-Out.
You even get a nice 'Stroke' frame for the image on screen! (like it or not 🙂 )
